containing a feeling

love is a word
much bandied about

some won’t use it
for fear that its overuse
has rendered it meaningless

some will use it constantly
in their search for its inner core
to be loved unconditionally

but in our rambling through life’s journey
finding love in another can seem like a pot of gold
but finding love for ourselves must be the end of the mystery
